Dr. Ferguson is a board certified podiatric surgeon who originated from Central Florida. She attended University of Central Florida for her undergraduate studies, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology. After graduating, she attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. 

Following her postgraduate education, Dr. Ferguson completed a three-year surgical residency at a level 1 trauma center in Toledo, Ohio at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where she earned additional credentialing in rearfoot reconstructive and trauma surgery. During her training, Dr. Ferguson rotated through subspecialties such as internal medicine, endocrinology, emergency medicine, vascular surgery, general surgery, and infectious disease. She served at chief resident her final year of residency. 

Dr. Ferguson returned to her hometown and began her solo practice at Mid Lake Foot and Ankle in 2019. She takes special interest in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, trauma surgery, wound care and limb salvage, as well as pediatric care. 

In her free time, Dr. Ferguson enjoys spending time with her husband and 8 pets. Her hobbies include fitness, traveling, reading, and photography.
